MIAL introduces Entertainment Centre at International Terminal of CSIA
Now a place for adults and little ones to spend quality time
Mumbai, July 7th, 2009: Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) has made travelling with children a breeze, with the launch of a new entertainment centre called the “TIMEZONE”. Once immigration and security formalities are over, if passengers wonder how to spend time before boarding is announced for their flights, this zone is a good option to look at. Located on the mezzanine level of the international terminal, next to the Food Court, the centre with an area of 600 sq ft has a whole range of facilities that not only meet the needs of adults, but also offers facilities to keep the young ones entertained.The zone would be operational 24/7 with trained staff manning the area.
Formed in association with gaming giant “TIMEZONE” of Australia, the centre has been set up as a one-stop point for all and combines a number of gaming options with the aesthetic features of a cozy area. With close to 15 games of international calibre, some of the options that kids and their parents could choose from include Doll Catcher, Candy and Disney Toy Vending Machines, and Kiddie rides such as Toy Train and School Bus rides. For the adventurous at heart with the desire to experience an adrenaline rush, games such as Car Driving, Bike Rally, shooting games like Ghost Squad and Paradise Lost, and the much talked about Stalker are an absolute must-do. The winner of Stalker stands to take home fantabulous prizes such as an 8 GB IPOD, 12 Mega Pixel Digital Camera, Mobile Phones and a variety of sophisticated gadgets. While the same game could be enjoyed multiple number of times, the tickets are priced between Rs.30 and Rs. 70, depending on the game being played.
Additionally, to further enhance the travel experience for families and make their experience at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) a unique and enjoyable one, Time Zone has also tied up with Walt Disney Co. to procure original Disney toys.
